The monthly Food & Wine pairing for October will feature a veritable cornucopia of flavors and aromas as Chef-in-residence Darby Tarantino pairs her menu selections with four very distinct Meadowcroft wines (www.meadowcroftwines.com) on Saturday, October 9.  Three seatings will take place at 12:00 noon, 2:00 p.m. and 4 p.m. with a $15 per person charge.  The Meadowcroft Wines tasting room is located at 23574 Arnold Drive/Hwy 121 in the Cornerstone Sonoma (www.cornerstonesonoma.com) complex.  Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling the tasting room at 707/934-4090.

Winemaker Tom Meadowcroft of Meadowcroft Family of Wines (www.meadowcroftwines.com) and David Sandri of WineTopics and American Winesecrets (www.winesecrets.com) will co-host a guest lecture at the Culinary Institute of America, St. Helena campus.  Titled “The Zinners of California,” they will present a fun, lively and educational presentation where they will leave attendees with the ability to compare and contrast the Zinfandels from five different Appellations of California including Napa, Sonoma, Amador, Lodi and Paso Robles.
